Kakabeak River

The team at Flying Saucer films asked me to create an illustration for their printed, client holiday card. In lieu of a client gift, Flying Saucer donated to the excellent Million Metres Streams Project, who are planting native trees along Aotearoa's waterways. Through a tree-shaped river I illustrated how the newly planted trees are helping clean up and bring new life to our rivers and waterways,

And then just for some fun I ended up animating the scene.
