I'm Ryan, an independent animator and motion designer crafting animations for clients around the globe, from Wellington, New Zealand.

My days are lived in frames per second, bringing life to illustrations that tell stories, inform and excite. I enjoy crafting keyframes, breaking complex information down, and presenting it in an engaging way. With a deep agency background, I’ve got that strategic design thinking hardwired in.

I storyboard, illustrate and animate directly with clients and other creative teams in New Zealand, Australia, the US and the UK. Delivering projects both large and small, I can manage your whole production, or slot into a team as a specialist.

My focus is always on the final result, and I use the tools that deliver that result effectively and efficiently, be it traditional frame-by-frame cel animation, full Octane rendered 3D, working within a webGL or Rive interactive environments for the web.

When I'm not animating, you can probably find me doing Dad stuff with my kids, mountain biking, snowboarding or smoking out the neighbours with my BBQ.
